We have been in Corpus Christi for about a month now living in a tiny 420 square foot condo. These two facts have caused us to rethink a few things.
First of all, we are going to put off buying an RV and get a bigger apartment for our next assignment. It's nice not having a huge house to clean but these girls need a bedroom...I need them to have a bedroom. And we need more space for school.
The second thing is that James and I have both always lived in rural areas and always planned on keeping it that way but living in an urban area is SO MUCH FUN! It may also be that we live in a tourist oriented part of Corpus. We could go weeks without a car and not get bored. These first pictures are all within the few miles of beach right behind our condo.

There are so many things to see and do that are just a very short drive from us. Most of it is on Shoreline which runs right alongside the bay.

The Art Center of Corpus Christi has free family art time every Saturday. This day we did shaving cream marbling.
The Texas State Aquarium is walking distance from our condo. The first time we went as a family I took my camera but not the SD card so all of these are from the second time when I took Addison by herself.
Sailboat races (or as James calls them Snailboat races)
The Hooks play at Whataburger Field which is only 2 miles away. This was so cheap and so much fun! Alyssa went to a ballgame with us when she was a baby but other than that none of our girls had ever been to a baseball game. Behind the outfield there was a Christian band playing and there were all kinds of fun things for the kids to do.
